Chapter 437 Frost Falls Over the Cave: Nightmare and the Transformation of a Dream 2

On the day of Frost's Descent, the cold wind swept across the ant world like a knife. Zhang Ying, the red ant queen, stood at the entrance of the ant nest, looking at the world covered with frost flowers, and a sense of unease welled up in her heart.

The ant queens led their respective swarms desperately toward the cave entrance. Just as the last ant escaped, the cave collapsed with a deafening roar.

Looking at the buried cave, the ants were still shaken.

"What exactly is this giant monster?" Black Ant King Wang Jun asked, panting heavily.

All the ant kings shook their heads, looking completely bewildered.

After this crisis, the ants realized that their world was facing an unprecedented threat.

“We must strengthen our defenses and find a way to figure out where that monster came from,” said Zhang Ying, the Red Ant King.

The other ant queens nodded in agreement.

So the ants began to take action. They expanded their nest, fortified their defenses, and sent out scout ants to gather more clues about the giant monster.

As the days went by, the scout ants finally brought news.

"Your Majesty, some strange symbols have been discovered in the valley to the east, which seem to be related to that giant monster," a scout ant reported to the Red Ant King Zhang Ying.

Zhang Ying immediately summoned the other ant queens and they headed to the eastern valley together.

In the valley, they saw those mysterious symbols. These symbols were carved on an enormous rock, emitting a faint light.

"What do these symbols mean?" Yellow Ant King Li Hua leaned closer to examine them carefully.

Li Ming, the termite king, said, "Perhaps we can find a wise man in our tribe to interpret this."

So the ants returned to their nest with rubbings of the symbols and found the oldest wise man.

The wise man looked at the rubbing, pondered for a long time, and then slowly said, "These symbols record an ancient legend. Long, long ago, the ant world suffered a great disaster. An evil beast from another world descended and brought endless suffering to the world. The giant monster we are encountering now is very likely a descendant of that evil beast."

Upon hearing this, the ant king's expression became very solemn.

"Then how should we deal with this?" Red Ant King Zhang Ying asked anxiously.

The wise man shook his head: "Legend has it that only by finding a mysterious key can the evil behemoth and its offspring be completely destroyed. But no one knows where this key is."

But the ants did not back down; they overcame difficulties time and time again through unity and wisdom.

After a long trek, the expedition finally arrived at the location marked on the map. It was a towering mountain peak surrounded by steep cliffs and treacherous mountain paths.

“The key should be on this mountain,” said Wang Jun, the Black Ant King.

The ants began to carefully climb along the mountain path. Suddenly, dark clouds filled the sky, and a storm was about to break.

"Everyone be careful!" shouted Zhang Ying, the Red Ant King.

Just then, an ant accidentally slipped and fell. Just as it was about to plunge into the abyss, General Green Ant Xinpei reacted quickly, grabbing its antennae and pulling it back up.

"Thank you, General!" the ant said gratefully.

The storm grew fiercer, and the ants clung tightly to rocks and branches, struggling to avoid the wind and rain.

Finally, the storm passed. The ants continued climbing, and after much effort, they reached the top of the mountain.

Beneath a boulder at the mountaintop, they discovered something glittering. Upon closer inspection, it was indeed the mysterious key.

"We've finally found it!" Red Ant King Zhang Ying exclaimed excitedly.

All the ant kings showed relieved smiles.

They returned to the anthill with the key, preparing for the final showdown with the evil behemoth.
